We respect your privacy. Where we receive private information or identifying material from you we are committed to taking all reasonable measures to protect that information and your privacy.

WHO WE ARE

This privacy policy is for the website www.fertility.com.au. It is owned by Natural Fertility Management P/L which governs the privacy of those who choose to use it.

This policy sets out the different areas where user privacy is concerned and outlines the obligations and requirements of the users, the website and website owner. The way this website processes, stores and protects user data and information will also be detailed within this policy.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY WE COLLECT IT

At Natural Fertility Management (NFM), we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of the visitors to our website. In particular, we want you to know that NFM will not sell, rent or trade email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. There are four ways in which your data might be collected via this website:

  • If you sign up to our mailing list
  • If you use our contact form
  • If you pay for one or more of our products using online payment
  • If you email us for an appointment with one of our fertility specialists
  • By cookies used on our site.

Your data is kept safe and secure and there are four cases in which your data might be seen or shared:

  • If you sign up to the mailing list, your data will be sent to the third party software used for our marketing automation platform. For this we use Mailchimp
  • Our accountant might see your name and email address
  • If you choose to pay via Stripe, your details will appear in our Stripe account
  • We have an affiliate program with WordPress: wpaffiliate. If you come to our website through one of our affiliates your data will be sent to the third party software used for the affiliate automation platform.

SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your personal information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. When your personal information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify it.

Documents and other files: Documents and files pertaining to you are stored on password protected and encrypted cloud storage. These are kept for as long as is legally necessary and then permanently deleted.

Credit card details: Credit card details are sometimes needed for payment. In some cases, this needs to be done over the phone, and all efforts are taken for you to read the details off your card while they are entered by us into the third party website. Sometimes it is not possible to coordinate this with you and we will need to write down your credit card details on a piece of paper. This paper is then shredded after the details are used. These details are never saved to the browser, stored in a document on the cloud or on a computer.

WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA

If you have contacted us and/or or started to work with us you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

At any time you can contact us to request to view, update, delete your personal details or report a data breach if you are concerned that one a has taken place.

Users contacting this website and/or its owners do so at their own discretion and provide any such personal details requested at their own risk. Your personal information is kept private and stored securely until a time it is no longer required or has no use, as detailed in the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988. We also adhere to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018. Every effort has been made to ensure a safe and secure form to email submission process but advise users using such form to email processes that they do so at their own risk.

EMAIL NEWSLETTER

This website operates an email newsletter program, which is used to inform subscribers about information, products and services supplied by this website. Users can subscribe through an online automated process should they wish to do so but at their own discretion. Some subscriptions may be manually processed through prior written agreement with the user. We use third party software (Mailchimp) for our marketing automation platform and the information you provide will be transferred to it for processing, in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms.

Under the Privacy Act 1988 you may request a copy of personal information held about you by this website’s email newsletter software.

Email marketing campaigns published by this website or its owners may contain tracking facilities within the actual email. Subscriber activity is tracked and stored in a database for future analysis and evaluation. Such tracked activity may include; the opening of emails, forwarding of emails, the clicking of links within the email content, times, dates and frequency of activity (this is by no far a comprehensive list).

This information is used to refine future email campaigns and supply the user with more relevant content based around their activity.

Unsubscribing from newsletters: Subscribers are given the opportunity to change their email address or unsubscribe at any time through an automated system. Please use the UNSUBSCRIBE link at the bottom of those emails for that purpose.
